  • Oil Refining - i.e., upgrading heavy oils
  • Chemical manufacturing (methanol, ammonia, acetic acid, etc.)
  • Steel production - i.e., 'Flash Method' Direct Reduction of Iron

Renewable Ammonia

Without ammonia modern agriculture does not exist. 90% of all the ammonia produced in the world is dedicated to the production of nitrogen fertilizers. In addition, ammonia is used as a chemical feedstock, refrigerent, cleaning agents, and also has the potential to be used as a fuel.
